Gnarly Radio is a free-form music show hosted by Phil Gough and co-hosted by Kim DeSante. The show features a diverse range of music that inspires and prompts insightful conversations about individuals who have made significant contributions.
Phil Gough moved to Laguna Beach in 1973 where he discovered the electric guitar and played with many local bands. In the 1980’s, Phil moved to Los Angeles where he spent the next 25 years working as a studio and touring musician, songwriter, and producer. Always keeping in touch with his Laguna roots, in 2012 Phil returned to Laguna Beach and now works with local musicians and artists.
Kim DeSante, a native of Georgia, relocated to Orange County during her high school years and developed a deep appreciation for the Southern California lifestyle. She is an avid surfer and is on the board of the San Onofre Surf Team.
Both Phil Gough and Kim DeSante can be found at various local music events and surfing spots throughout Laguna Beach.

His musical journey has taken him across continents, thrilling audiences in North America, England, Scotland, Australia, and New Zealand alongside 2-tone legend Dave Wakeling and The English Beat. Phil's versatility shines through his collaborations, having also contributed to Bow Wow Wow and worked with French pop star David Hallyday.
Beyond the spotlight, Phil's creative contributions extend to television and film, with notable achievements including composing the opening theme for Gene Simmons' Family Jewels and scoring projects such as Sex And The City.
His musical prowess transcends genres, as evidenced by his regular performances with Southern California's Reggae legends Common Sense, ska/reggae band Party Foul, and jazz artist Patrick Bradley
